Shooting Ecrubox
Last week I had a fun and frenetic shoot for Ecrubox Digital, a Worcester based marketing agency that I last shot a few years ago. After growing rapidly and moving offices, I was there to update their staff headshots as well as getting some team photographs and reportage.

Rollovers
This my first chance to play with the mobile studio set-up since the pandemic began and it was a genuine pleasure to be loading the car with all the gear again.
Once I was unloaded the first job was get the studio set up. With time and space a consideration I went for the paper roll as opposed to the self-supporting backdrop and we began getting rollover-ready headshots of their newly expanded team.
Rollovers are great fun to do, but also pack hidden challenge. You have to be mindful of how much movement the frame can accommodate, and try and limit both your subject’s movement, and yours.
Reportage
With the rollovers complete we broke the studio down and reclaimed the boardroom for some meeting room reportage. The office in the Porcelain Works is lush, offering a large open-plan central space and several break-out spaces for smaller groups to focus in.
The window light in each of the spaces was lovely and the team were engaged and having fun, which makes such a difference to the images.
Founders
After some portraits of the firm’s founders, Heather & Sebastian, and a whole team photo, it was time to pack everything back into the car and wend my way.
It was such a pleasure to be out and about and doing what I love, massive thanks to Lucy for helping me stay on track (and for lugging heavy bags around).
I had real fun working with the team at Ecrubox, and we made some great photos.
