I love to talk about photography and find sharing my enthusiasm rewarding. Training people to bridge the gap between what they want from their camera and and what they get from it is both fun and inspiring. If you’re looking to “Get off Auto”, or to take more control over your camera, or if you have a specific technique that you would like to work on, I can help.
The most structured course I offer is ‘Getting off Auto’. This begins with a theoretical discussion, followed by a photowalk or hands-on session. Core subject areas are the aperture, shutter speed and ISO. We’ll also look at compositional techniques and ideas.
These sessions are offered on a 1-2-1 basis, making it easy to tailor the syllabus to your interests or needs. My “what’s next” course has no syllabus as it is entirely based on that which you would like to cover. Each session costs £145 and lasts for around 3 hours.
I also offer the “Getting off Auto” courses to groups on Saturdays in Worcester, there are four places on each course, each at £95. Drop me a line for more information.
