A colour large format transparency held up to the window.

Last week I photographed one of my client’s events in Northampton. Held at the architecturally striking Diana Russell Building, the home of Maggie’s Northhampton the event’s focus was ‘celebrating partnership’.

It was a an opportunity to chat and network and to make the most of a pleasant summer evening while sampling some locally produced and delicious foods. (The limoncello chocolates were particularly good, apparently the mead was too, I was driving and had to abstain.)

Aside from a few formal photographs, I was there to document the event as it happened. This is one of the reasons that event photography is a favourite of mine, there’s something about hunting for the photograph, of being in the right place at the right time, and not knowing how the event will unfold.

Joining these people to celebrate the work done together, and to witness the laying of foundations for future work was a pleasure, (and again the chocolates were really good).

Here are a few images from the event.
