Later there was an opportunity to view the art department and the work the students had completed, and a chance to the get the boats out on the water one last time. King’s Day is always a bitter sweet event, it marks the end of what for some has been a very long relationship. Excitement for the future, and nostalgia for the past, students become alumni, Old Vigornians, and take the next step into the wider world.
We were blessed with incredible weather (perhaps a little warmer than I would have liked), and a great crowd.
Here are a few of my pictures from the day, for more information about The King’s School check out their website – www.ksw.org.uk.
